We are very selective. We invest only in those companies in which we are confident we can accelerate growth by providing additional capital, applying our expertise and leveraging our extensive network as a conduit to new business. Typically, these are companies valued between US$50 million - $150 million (£25 million - £75 million, €40 million - €120 million) and growing organically at more than 10% per year.

Our investment strategy is focused on service-based companies, which operate in a broad spectrum of sectors. These include business, financial, consumer and healthcare services, as well as the information, software and communication systems industries themselves, in both North America and Europe, where our international presence provides meaningful advantage.

We’re Flexible.

Our unique source of capital gives us the flexibility to support companies in many different situations. As a result, we are able to adapt our investment approach according to what will work best for a company. While we invest primarily by acquiring controlling stakes in private companies, we will also consider acquiring minority positions, providing growth capital and taking public companies private. We typically use third–party debt to fund a portion of our investments, but we can use an all–equity structure if it is more appropriate.
